Appeal to trace three people following theft, Sutton

Police are appealing for information following the theft of cash from an elderly lady's bank account.

Officers from the Metropolitan Police Service's Roads and Transport Policing Command are appealing for help in identifying three people after an elderly lady had over £2000 stolen following the theft of her bank card.

Police would like to identify two men and a woman who followed the 75-year-old victim from Barclays Bank in Sutton High Street after she withdrew some cash. She later boarded a route S1 bus on Brighton Road, Sutton, which is where officers believe the suspects stole the victim's bank card from her bag.

The suspects then withdrew £2250 from the victim's bank account, using her bank card and pin.
