Burglary at Hounslow bar

Officers from Hounslow Borough investigating a burglary at a business address have issued CCTV footage of a man they wish to identify and speak with in connection with the offence.

On Sunday, 20 March, police were called at around 11:30hrs to a report of a burglary at The Cinnamon Lounge on Twickenham Road in Isleworth.

The burglary was reported to have occurred between 23:30hrs on Saturday, 19 March and 10:45hrs on Sunday, 20 March. Five bottles of spirits and £1,500 was taken.

The suspect entered through the rear fire exit and walked into the pantry area where five bottles of spirits were stolen. The suspect later broke into the office and took £1,500 in cash.

CCTV from within the premises overlooking the till caught the suspect searching behind the bar area.

The suspect [ref: 209664] is described as a slim built white man, aged in his 20s. He was wearing a striped bobble hat, white zipped dark blue jacket, blue jeans and black and white trainers. 

Police are keen to hear from anyone who may recognise the man shown on the footage.
