Police have released CCTV footage of a man they would like to speak to in connection with two sexual assaults in Clapham.
The footage of the man was taken following a sexual assault on 26 June.
Detectives from the Met's Sexual Offences, Exploitation and Child Abuse Command who are leading the investigation previously issued still images of the man they would like to trace.
On 22 May at about 02:00hrs a woman was sexually assaulted after a man followed her into the communal hallway of a residential building on Clapham Common South Side. The woman fought the male off and he ran from the scene.
At 02:00hrs on 26 June, a 27-year-old woman was sexually assaulted by a man on Klea Avenue, Clapham.
The woman was approached from behind by a man who pushed her into the communal area of flats at the location before attacking her.
The woman managed to scratch him on the face with her key - close to his left eye - before he made off.
The suspect is described as an Asian man, around 25 to 35 years old, of medium build, 5ft 5inches tall with short black hair. He spoke with an English accent.
A man was captured on CCTV near to both incidents and police would urgently like to speak to him as part of this investigation.
Detective Inspector Andrew Wadey from the Met's Sexual Offences, Exploitation and Child Abuse Command said: "We are extremely keen to identify this man in connection with these incidents and appeal to anyone with any information to come forward as soon as possible. These incidents were terrifying ordeals for both victims.”
