[APPEAL: Do you recognise these men?]

Detectives from Bromley CID who are appealing for information about an unprovoked assault in a pub have released CCTV stills of two men they want to trace.

On Thursday, 7 December, the victim, a 49-year-old man, was sat at a table with two women in a pub in High Street, Bromley when they were approached by a man (suspect 1) who started talking to them before punching the man in the face, causing a cut above his eye and bruising.

A second man (suspect 2) then threw a drink at the victim during the altercation.

Officers were called to the scene at around 20:20hrs. Bromley CID lead the investigation and are now releasing CCTV stills as they seek the public’s help in identifying the two men.

Both men are described as white and are thought to be in their late 30s or early 40s.

'Suspect 1' was described as being of big build and wearing a white T-shirt, and 'Suspect 2' was described as being of slimmer build and wearing a blue T-shirt.

No arrests have been made. Enquiries are ongoing.

Detective Constable Francesca Bruni, leading the investigation, said: "This was a violent unprovoked assault on the victim who was left shaken after the incident.

"To assist the investigation, we are keen to identify and speak to the two men in the CCTV stills. If you recognise either or both of these men, please get in touch."
