Fail to stop collision in Harrow

Police are continuing to appeal for witnesses after the driver of a car failed to stop at the scene of a serious collision.

At around 23:45hrs on Saturday, 5 August, a car was in collision with a pedestrian in Gladstone Way, Harrow near the junction with Palmerston Road.

The pedestrian - a man aged in his 60s - was taken by London Ambulance Service to hospital where his condition is critical.

Next of kin have been informed.

The driver of the car failed to stop at the scene. The vehicle is believed to be an A class Mercedes. Detectives from the Serious Collision Investigation Unit at Alperton are investigating.
