Fatal collision in Carshalton

A second man has died following a road traffic collision in Carshalton.

Police were called at approximately 17:40hrs on 30 December 2015 to reports of a collision involving two cars on Little Woodcote Lane, Carshalton.

The London Ambulance Service also attended and the driver of one of the cars, a 69-year-old man, was pronounced dead at the scene. Next of kin have been informed. 

Two occupants of the other car involved - the male driver and a female passenger - were taken to hospital. 

The driver, a 68-year-old man, died in hospital on Saturday, 9 January. Next of kin have been informed.

Formal identification has not taken place.

The female passenger remains in hospital in a serious but stable condition.

Officers from the Serious Collision Investigation Unit are investigating.
