Officers from the Met’s Serious Collision Investigation unit attended a fatal collision in Feltham and are appealing for any witnesses who have not yet come forward to make contact.
Police were called at 21:03hrs on Thursday, 2 January by London Ambulance Service to reports of a collision at South View, Bedfont Road, Feltham.
Officers, London Ambulance Service and London’s Air Ambulance attended. At the scene a motorcycle had been in collision with a lamppost.
The 19-year-old male rider of the motorcycle had been seriously injured, and was pronounced dead at the scene at 21:30hrs.
Next of kin have been notified. Formal identification awaits.
No other vehicles are believed to have been involved in the collision.
