Further charges in Edgware Road murder investigation

Detectives investigating the murder of 17-year-old Josiph Beker in Edgware Road on Tuesday, 10 September have charged another two males with murder.

A 16-year-old [D] arrested on Sunday, 15 September and a 17-year-old [E] arrested on Monday, 16 September were charged with murder and appeared at Highbury Corner Magistrates’ Court - both were remanded in custody to appear at the Old Bailey on Thursday, 19 September.

Two 16-year-old males [A] and [B] were charged with murder on Saturday, 14 September and appeared at the Old Bailey on Tuesday, 17 September. They were remanded in custody to next appear at the same court on 3 December.

A third teenager, aged 18 [C] arrested on Friday, 13 September in connection with the murder has been bailed pending further enquiries.

Detectives from the Specialist Crime Command are investigating, led by Detective Chief Inspector Andy Partridge.
