Male charged with Brixton murder

Officers investigating the murder of Solomon Small in Lambeth have charged a male.

A 17-year-old boy [B] was charged with Solomon’s murder on Wednesday, 21 August – he will appear in custody at Bromley Youth Court on Thursday, 22 August.

He was arrested by detectives on Tuesday, 20 August.

Homicide detectives from Specialist Crime continue to investigate the death of 18-year-old Solomon on Thursday, 15 August.

Police were called to Corrance Road, SW2, shortly before 14.00hrs, where Solomon was found with stab injuries.

Despite the efforts of paramedics, he was pronounced dead at 14:41hrs.

A post mortem examination on Friday, 16 August gave the cause of death as an incised wound to the chest.

+ A 17-year-old boy [A] arrested on suspicion of murder on Thursday, 15 August has been bailed to return on a date in mid-September.
