Met staff member pleads guilty to theft

A serving member of police staff has pleaded guilty to theft.

Agnes Alexander, 60 (24.03.59) from the Central South Command Unit, was arrested on Monday, 2 September and charged with theft.

She appeared at Camberwell Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday, 18 September where she pleaded guilty. She will be sentenced on Thursday, 19 September.

The charge follow an investigation by the Met’s Directorate of Professional Standards.

She has been suspended from duty while criminal proceedings take place.
