Police appeal after two youths attacked in Tower Hamlets

Police in Tower Hamlets are appealing for witnesses and information following an assault against at least two youths.

The offence happened at about 17:00hrs on Tuesday, 25 July in in Weavers Fields, E2.

At least two youths in their early teens were assaulted by three men.

The youths, who were left bruised and shocked after the assault, told police they were approached by the men in the park and assaulted in an unprovoked attack.

The suspects are described as white males, aged between 30 and 40. They spoke with eastern European accents.

This is being treated as a hate crime.

No arrests at this time. Enquiries continue.
