A police constable has been dismissed without notice after allegations of misconduct were proven.
PC Donna Kemp, attached to the West Area BCU, appeared at a misconduct hearing, which concluded on Wednesday, 12 February.
She faced allegations that her conduct breached the Standards of Professional Behaviour in respect of authority, respect and courtesy, equality and diversity and discreditable conduct.
It was alleged that PC Kemp made racist and discriminatory comments in the presence of other police officers and police staff.
Having considered all of the evidence, the chair and panel found the officer had breached the professional standards at the level of gross misconduct in respect of authority, respect and courtesy, equality and diversity and discreditable conduct.
