Road traffic collision in Islington

Police are appealing for information following a collision involving two motorcycles in Islington.

Officers were called to Clerkenwell Road with the junction with Berry Street, EC1, to reports of a road traffic collision on 3 November at approximately 10:40hrs.

London Ambulance Service was called to the scene. Two motorcyclists were treated by medical staff.

A 38-year-old year old man [victim 1] was taken to an east London hospital and is in a critical condition.

A 27-year-old man [victim 2] was also taken to an east London hospital. He has since been discharged.

There have been no arrests.

The Met's Serious Collision Investigation Unit based at Alperton would like to speak to witnesses or anyone who has information on the collision to come forward.
