Witnesses to fail-to-stop motorcycle collision in Hounslow sought

Detectives are appealing for information and witnesses after a 61-year-old man was critically injured after being struck by a scooter in a ‘hit and run collision’ in Hounslow. 

Police were called to a serious collision on Staines Road near to the junction with Steve Bilko Way in Hounslow at 7.30pm on Friday, 5 January. 

The rider of the motorcycle failed to stop at the scene after the collision. 

The injured pedestrian currently remains in hospital in a serious but stable condition after suffering a serious head injury.

Officers from the Met’s Serious Collision Unit continue to deal and are appealing for information.
