Two men aged in their 50s were arrested on suspicion of the murder of Anthony Littler
The charges relate to an assault on Masons Avenue, HA3 which left an 18-year-old girl with stab wounds. She has since been discharged from hospital.
Connor McCarthy, 39, pleaded guilty at the Old Bailey on Friday, 2 February to murder. He will be sentenced on Thursday, 25 April.
Police are aware of widespread reporting and concern in the community and can now confirm the incident involving Mr Freer's office is not being treated as a hate crime. Mr Freer has been informed.
