Amberley Museum is to feature in the new ITV1 programme, ‘My Tasty Travels’ with Lynda Bellingham at 4pm on Thursday the 6th of September.
Tune in to watch as a delighted Lynda visits the popular vintage fire engine and commercial vehicle show at the Museum, before moving on to learn how to make bread and butter at a local farm.
The Museum is one of the key British landmarks featuring in the 20 x 60’ series, which will see Lynda Bellingham take to the road in her vintage campervan “Battenburg”, on a quest to seek out Britain’s best summer eats.
Amberley Museum is thrilled to be involved as one of the feature places Lynda visited to help demonstrate people and places that make this country so special.
From country fetes to Food and Drink Festivals, family picnics to cricket teas; street food to street parties, Lynda immerses herself in the people and places that give this country its distinct seasonal flavour. In every episode Lynda is tasked with a food challenge and her culinary skills are put to the test as she rustles up a variety of dishes. Her missions include baking a perfect Victoria sandwich for the Women’s Institute to creating a curry for the local lifeboat men.
The series starts on Monday the 3rd of September at 4pm on ITV1.
