NAG’s HPC Experts Win Innovation Excellence Awards at ISC13

The NAG Library for SMP & Multicore has been extended and now includes even more parallelized algorithms enabling users of shared memory systems to solve their numerical problems faster. The NAG Library for SMP & Multicore contains over 1,700 routines – but over a third of the routines in the Library for SMP & Multicore can now utilize multiple cores.

NAG Library for Intel® Xeon Phi™ launches at ISC13

The NAG Library for Intel Xeon Phi contains over 1,700 numerical routines. NAG routines automatically offload, when it is beneficial to do so, compute intensive operations to the Xeon Phi thereby enabling users to transparently exploit the performance of the Xeon Phi. For more advanced users the new NAG Library for Intel Xeon Phi also supports Intel’s Explicit Offload and Native Execution models.

The NAG Fortran Library receives a major update including new optimizers

NAG announces support for IBM BlueGene/Q supercomputers

The Numerical Algorithms Group (NAG) announces the availability of their high quality numerical libraries for IBM’s Blue Gene/Q® third generation massively parallel supercomputer from IBM. The JUQUEEN Blue Gene/Q® is part of the Gauss Centre for Supercomputing (GCS). Sequoia, another Blue Gene/Q® became the world’s most powerful supercomputer in June 2012, taking the top spot in the Top500.

NAG delivers numerical software quality for Intel® Xeon Phi™ coprocessors
