Make sure you get the right price every time

If you are sending a Large Letter remember to change the settings of your franking machine to Large Letter. If you are sending franked mail abroad (including the Republic of Ireland), please choose from one of Royal Mail’s International services available through your franking machine.

Improvements to Royal Mail’s Parcel Service

Royal Mail have some great services available for customers to get even more from Royal Mail parcel services, which include:

  • Local Collect® – offer your customers the convenience of having their items delivered to one of 10,500 Post Office® branches of which over 5,000 have been modernised. Many are open
  • from early in the morning until later in the evening with over 3,000 open on Sundays – it’s really convenient.

  • Sunday services – Royal Mail have opened around 100 of their busiest delivery offices on Sundays with around 250 more planned for 2016. They are also providing Sunday deliveries of parcels to addresses within the area of the M25.
  • Systems investment – Royal Mail are investing in systems across their parcels operation to improve the visibility of items in its network. These developments are dependent upon parcels in the
  • network carrying 2D barcodes (available to parcels contracts).
