Neopost updates its flagship Output Management Software solution to streamline multi-channel communications for SMEs

Latest version of OMS-500 improves cost control and usability

Neopost Ltd, a leading provider of communication solutions, has today announced version five of its OMS-500 solution, which will allow small and medium enterprises (SMEs) to better manage their customer communication flows across both physical and digital channels. The updated Output Management Software (OMS) tool includes significant enhancements to usability and integration with existing IT environments.

The OMS-500 is a browser-based software solution that centralises and automates the management, preparation and distribution of multi-channel customer communications. Invoices, marketing materials and other business documents can be tailored to meet individual customer requirements and then sent using their preferred method of contact, whether that is by physical post, email, web form or fax. The update enriches both the user interface (UI) and user experience (UX) to further simplify the management of communication processes; reducing the opportunity for manual intervention and human error, while increasing strategy effectiveness and cost control. Additionally, the updated version expands the library of supported print drivers, enabling the solution to seamlessly integrate with a wider variety of existing IT set-ups.

“As digital technology continues to transform customer communications, SMEs increasingly require a solution that enables them to engage with customers using the right message, at the right time and using the right channel,” says Phil Hutchison, Operational Marketing Director, Neopost Limited. “The OMS-500 not only allows businesses to personalise communications for individual customers – a key requirement in consumer-driven markets – but it also automates the entire process; reducing the opportunity for costly errors, and saving time and money that can be invested into other business-growing activities. These new enhancements ensure a better experience for users which, in turn, will result in a much more effective communication strategy for their customers.”

The OMS-500 integrates with industry leading CRM, ERM and accounting and finance software solutions to ensure the complete flow of accurate information, from its creation to input on vital business documents such as invoices and contracts. Through the use of advanced barcodes, organisations are able to separate physical mail by preference, for example, by number of pages or postcode, and items to the same individual will be grouped, reducing postage expenditure. The OMS-500 operates on the award-winning, world-renowned GMC software platform ensuring the highest levels of performance and scalability.
