The Swedish Chamber of Commerce in Germany ( has announced that Netigate is awarded the Swedish Business Award in Germany 2012 (“Schwedischer Unternehmenspreis 2012”) by reason of its successful introduction on the German market. Netigate is awarded in the category Newcomer of the year.

Netigate established in Germany in 2009 and has in a very short period of time built a strong sales organisation with offices in Wiesbaden and Berlin, where today around 20 employees handle more than 500 customers in Germany, Switzerland and Austria. The annual growth rate has ever since the beginning been over 60%.  Among the German customers are well known companies like McDonald´s, Sixt, DB Schenker and Casio.

Mats Hultberg, CEO of the Swedish Chamber of Commerce in Germany comments the award: ”Netigate has been selected in fierce competition with several other successful Swedish startups in Germany. Through business innovation, a high technical level and a strong customer focus, Netigate has in short time left a mark on the German market.”

The Swedish Business Award is awarded for the 10th consecutive year and was formerly known as the Swedish Export Prize. The award is organized by the Swedish Chamber of Commerce in Germany together with the Swedish Trade Council and the Swedish Embassy in Berlin. The award has three categories: large enterprises, middle sized companies and newcomers on the German market. Winners in the category large enterprises are Bonnier Media Deutschland GmbH and in the category middle sized companies Vagabond International AB. The award ceremony takes place 15th November 2012 in Berlin, where Mr Jacob Wallenberg from Investor is the keynote speaker.
