Samsung, the company behind the Galaxy S4 flagship, was also the company behind the Google Nexus 10, a 10-inch Nexus. According to a report, ASUS will be replacing the Korean tech giant in the tablet’s refresh.

The new comes to us courtesy of Geek. The site says, “According to multiple sources reporting to Geek.com, the Nexus 10 refresh is expected to be available on the Google Play Store as well as Best Buy retail stores in time for the holiday season. It’s unclear exactly what hardware improvements we’ll see in this new Nexus 10 over the previous generation, but given Asus and Google’s recent work with Qualcomm it’s not hard to guess that we’ll see a Snapdragon chipset powering an impressive 2560×1600 display.”

The site says in an update, “And here is the retail leak. It clearly notes that this will be a Google Nexus 10 16G WiFi manufactured by Asus. The product dimensions, stock date, and other information seems to be filled with placeholders.”
