To have the hottest smartphones currently on the market are the Samsung Galaxy S3 and the HTC One X. These are the latest flagship smartphones from their respective manuaufacturers. Both the Samsung Galaxy S3 and HTC One X boast their respective manufacturers’ most impressive touchscreens to date. The Samsung Galaxy S3 has a slightly larger screen measuring 4.8 inches. This screen has a number of impressive attributes which make it one of the most impressive touchscreens available. With such a large measurements, you may expect display quality of the screen to suffer, however it is not the case. Within its measurements, a resolution of 720x 1280 creates a pixel density of 306 PPI. This is no doubt one of the most impressive screens to date from Samsung, and the same can definitely be said about its camera. Like many high end Android smartphones, the Samsung Galaxy S3 boasts an 8 megapixel camera. This comes with all the usual image enhancing features that you may expect from many similar devices, such as autofocus, face detection, LED flash and image stabilisation etc. It also, this camera can capture 1080p video footage. The camera also has a couple of unique features not found on many other smartphones. One of these is called best photo, and takes 8 photos per second, allowing you to then choose the best one. The HTC One X is the manufacturer's latest flagship Android smartphone, and boasts a similar level of technology to its Samsung counterpart. This also has the manufacturer’s best screen to date. This is slightly smaller at 4.7 inches, and with super IPS LCD2 capacitive touchscreen technology, is certainly HTC's best yet. It has the same resolution as the Galaxy S3, and because this is packed into a slightly smaller screen, the pixel density increases. The camera of the HTC One X offers similar functionality to that of the Galaxy S3 also. With an 8 megapixel resolution and 1080p video capture along with a feature similar to best photo, it is almost identical on paper. Additionally, this camera can also capture simultaneous photos and videos.
Obviously, there are many other differences and the similarities between both of these phones. As you can see, many of the attributes of their screens and cameras are shared in common, and they both certainly deserve their titles as their respective manufacturers’ flagship smartphones.
