Conservative Party: One month on and still no Plan A from Labour

Michael Fallon has responded to Ed Miliband's speech to the CBI, in which the Labour Leader still failed to set out a plan for cutting the deficit.

"Ed Miliband and Alan Johnson were at the heart of the Labour Government that destroyed growth and led to the longest and deepest recession on record", said the Deputy Chairman of the Conservative Party.

"Their attempts to re-write history on the deficit won't fool anyone", he added.

"Ed Miliband can't accuse the Government of lacking a Plan B when he's been leader of the Labour Party for a month and still hasn't set out a Plan A for cutting the deficit.  Only once Labour have set out a credible plan will they be able to talk about growth."
