The HTC One was one of the first high profile Android smartphone models to be released this year. The phone has seen a welcome return to form for the Taiwanese manufacturer, and allowed the company to once again stake its claim in the high-end smartphone market which continues to be dominated by the likes of Samsung and Apple. Thanks to its innovative spec list and stylish design, the HTC One remains one of the most sought after smartphone models on the market.
Currently, the HTC One is available in silver and black
colour options. However, prior to its release photos of a red version of the
device were also leaked, but unfortunately this version of the device has
remained elusive. It is likely that the widely reported component shortages
affecting the phone's production meant that production of the red HTC One was
put on hold, as silver and black options were most likely to be the biggest sellers.
It was recently revealed that HTC is still planning to release the red version
of the HTC One, which has resulted in plenty of anticipation about when it will
be released. TO compare prices of HTC One contracts from UK networks, visit our website.
Following news that the glamour red HTC One is on the way, new photos the device have been hitting the web, and Android Authority has recently reported on what looks like the first hands on review of the device. The handset is shown up close and although video and review is and German, it gives us a proper look at the phone’s appearance. The silver and black options of the HTC One are arguably the best looking smartphones on the market right now. The glamour red HTC One uses the same aluminium chassis, but of course offers a much more colourful alternative and stands out on account of its bright colour scheme.
The HTC One in glamour red will come with exactly the same spec list as the black and silver versions. Therefore, the eye catching handset will sport the same 4.7 inch 1080p LCD display, Beats Audio support, 1.7 GHz quad-core processor, 4 Ultrapixel camera and Android Jellybean OS with HTC Sense 5.0 UI.
The glamour red HTC One will land in the UK in mid July as a SIM free handset and on pay monthly deals. It will then be released across other markets throughout the rest of the year.
