In recent months, Nokia has once again become one of the dominant brands in the smartphone industry. Of course, this is thanks largely to its Windows Phone however Lumia devices like the Lumia 920, which has been one of most popular smartphone models of the last year, and one of the biggest successes to date from the Finnish manufacturer.
Nokia recently released a follow up device called the Lumia
925, and although it has only been on the market for a couple of weeks it has
already been listed as a bestseller by a couple of networks in Germany. Nokia Lumia 925 contracts are compared on our website.
Another high end device is soon to be released by Nokia, called the Nokia EOS. The phone has been widely rumoured for several months, and it is speculated that its standout feature will be its camera. Some of the earliest rumours about this phone has suggested that it will sport a 41 megapixel PureView camera sensor with Carl Zeiss optics. Obviously, this would make the Nokia EOS one of the most advanced camera phones on the market, and this feature seems to have been confirmed by Nokia on invitations to the phone’s launch event.
Invitations to the press event which will take place on July 11th in New York read ’41 Million Reasons’, clearly hinting towards the phone’s pixel count. Coupled with recently leaked photos which appear to show the phone on its production line, all signs point to the handset being available at some point in the summer.
The device is also rumoured to feature a ClearBlack display, dual/quad-core processor and Windows Phone operating system along with its stylish aluminium unibody body.
More details regarding its features, pricing and availability are likely to be revealed in the near future, so when we hear more we will be sure to keep you posted.
