Readers are often comparing specifications and it was done many times and in many occasions on both phones. This comparison will be a little bit different as this focuses on positive and negative things that surrounds the iPhone 5 and the Galaxy S4. There is a recent study conducted on the four smartphones when they were launched including the iPhone 5 and Galaxy S4, the Blackberry Z10 and Nokia Lumia 920. Though here, the main focus will be on the Galaxy S4 and the iPhone 5.

Some informative figures from the study involved some social networking sites like Twitter and other blogs and forums revealed that during the launching of the iPhone 5 there are 1.7 million conversations that took place while the Galaxy S4 had 140,000 conversations. When you look at the brand comments, there are negative reactions on the iPhone making these reactions 20% while comparing it to Galaxy S4’s 11% making the S4 the least criticized smartphone.  Majority of the negative comments received by iPhone is its looks/design, the power socket and Apple Maps. It could have been lessened if the manufacturer provided adapters for the power socket. For the maps, it only caused confusion because of several inaccuracies and Apple felt that they needed to apologize for that inconvenience. Its appearance lacks the knockout factor thereby resulting to complaints about the way iPhone looks.

Above concerns may cause major dissatisfaction with iPhone 5 while here are some other concerns like discoloration when taking pictures as well as not strong coating of the handset, there are other concerns about the leakage behind the phone’s display.
