Apple had been using high quality components made by Samsung on its popular mobile phones for quite some time now. It can be recalled that Samsung and Apple have been fighting in several courts around the world for patent disputes but despite this arguement, it seems that the iPhone 5S will be released with Samsung parts inside the mobile device.

Last June, a news had came out and stated that Apple had entered into a deal with TSMC and this deal will last for 3 years which will start this 2014 with the introduction of iPhone 6 though the main focus will still be on  iPhone 5S. This year, the new iPhone will feature parts made by their powerful rival, Samsung.

It will be recalled that Apple had tried to shun away from Samsung but the processors made by TSMC did not pass the Apple standards however, as of this writing, this concern have been ironed out and it seems that the two companies have agreed and signed an agreement though Samsung will still be the key supplier next year.

Many reliable sources believed that many Apple executives feel that the company cannot control its own fate because of their dependence on Samsung. One former Apple executive believes that if they start from scratch with a new supplier it is frightening due to the amount of time they have spent working with Samsung.

It is a given fact that Samsung is one of the leading suppliers of first class parts and to find a substitute for Apple’s requirement will prove to be a difficult task. While Apple still needs Samsung for the processors supply, there are reports that they had begun scouting another supplier for the display to be used on some of its smartphone.
