Previous reports claimed that the rumoured HTC One Max phablet, bigger version of the HTC One smartphone, would sport am fingerprint scanner. However, none of the leaks could prove the feature was on board the device. Now, new leaked photos show a fingerprint icon, giving us more proof that the feature does exist on the phablet.
ePrice, a Taiwanese site, is responsible for leaking the new photos. On two of the photos, a fingerprint icon can be seen on the screen.
Word on the street is the HTC One Max will come with a 5.9-inch full HD screen, 16GB of on board storage, support for a microSD card, a 3200-3300mAh battery, and a 2.3GHz Snapdragon 800 quad-core processor coupled with 2GB of RAM for added performance. HTC is expected to officially unveil the phablet at the IFA trade show in Berlin Germany on the 4th of September.
