These days, most flagships have mini versions. The Samsung Galaxy S4 has the Samsung Galaxy S4 Mini. The HTC One has the HTC One Mini. Now, the LG G2 is reportedly getting the LG G2 Mini.
This is according to Techblog, a Greek site. The report was spotted and translated by PhoneArena. The site reports, “According to a published report, an LG G2 mini is in the works, although it could have a different name by the time it launches. The screen on the mini version of the device is expected to be 4.7 inches as opposed to the 5.2 inch panel on the full-sized model.
“Similar to the rumored Sony Xperia Z1s, the LG G2 mini might be smaller in size, but most of the specs will not change from what is on the full-sized version of the phone. While it is unknown whether the 4.7 inch panel will offer 720 x 1280 resolution, or 1080 x 1920 resolution, the LG G2 mini is expected to offer the same 2GB of RAM and quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 CPU as seen in the original model.
“The LG G2 mini, or whatever the device will be called, could be introduced during next month's CES 2014 in Las Vegas.”
