Motorola has officially unveiled the Moto X, but the handset will only be available in the US. However, the company announced that Europe will be getting “something new.”
The Google-owned company announced on its official blog, “Moto X will be available in the US, Canada and Latin America starting in late August/early September.”
On the phone-maker’s UK site, it teases, “We’re working on something new.” Unfortunately, it doesn’t drop any hints on what it plans to release in Europe. We’re guessing it’s a European version of the US-only Moto X.
Motorola told TechRadar, “We are firmly committed to building a portfolio of products in Europe that show the best of Motorola as a Google company, but at this time don’t have any immediate plans for Moto X to come to the region.
“Europe remains an important market for us and we have exciting plans in the works. Although we can’t reveal specifics right now, this is just the start.”
