Following the recent release of the Samsung Galaxy S4, there have been plenty of rumours regarding new variants of Samsung's latest flagship hitting the market. Among these are the waterproof Galaxy S4 Active, a more affordable Galaxy S4 Mini and the Galaxy S4 Zoom.
As its name suggests, the latter focuses heavily on camera functionality. While the original Galaxy S4 has a 13 megapixel camera which is impressive in its own right, the Galaxy S4 Zoom is said to sport an upgraded 16 megapixel camera with the addition of a 10x optical zoom. Although the device is yet to be officially announced by the South Korean manufacturer, new photos have recently been leaked online, Android Authority reports. The images show the Galaxy S4 Zoom will be similar in appearance to the Samsung Galaxy Camera, with the phone's large lens visible on the back. It also sees the addition of a dedicated camera button to instantly take photos from the home screen.
While the upgraded camera is of course the standout feature of this device, the Galaxy S4 Zoom also includes an impressive array of other features. It is believed that the phone will sport a 4.3 inch super AMOLED qHD display, 1.6 GHz dual-core processor, Android 4.2.2 Jellybean operating system with TouchWiz UI, 8 GB of internal storage and microSD support. Additionally, the device will be equipped with a number of connectivity options including 3G, Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi and GPS.
It is expected that Samsung will officially unveil and
showcase the Galaxy S4 Zoom later this month at the Samsung Premier event
which will be held on June 20th in London. Cheap prices on Galaxy S4 contracts are available on our website.
