New Update Addresses Storage Issues On The Samsung Galaxy S4

The Samsung Galaxy S4 has become one of the most popular devices on the market, however there are many consumers that have purchased the device who are not happy with the amount of internal storage that is available to them. Following the many complaints that Samsung have received, the company are due to release a new software update that is to address this issue. Unfortunately the improvement in the storage capacity will be minimal.

A new software update for the Samsung Galaxy S4 is soon to be released which will attempt to address the problem that many consumers are facing when it comes to the amount of storage that is available on the device. Here in the UK only the 16GB version of the model is currently available. This amount of storage is ample for the average customer, but when you take into account the software that is preloaded on the model the user is only left with 9.15Gb available. This amount of storage will be expanded by the new update to 9.23GB, which is not a great deal although this is shows that they are heading in the right direction. This slight increase has been possible by stripping back some of the "bloatware" on the device.  Furtner reports on the new S4 software

The new update has not yet been officially launched for the Samsung Galaxy S4 and it seems that the first consumers to take advantage of the new software will be those in Germany with other European regions to follow including the UK. It has been said that the Korean manufacturers will be releasing more than one update to rectify the storage issue, however this has not yet been confirmed by Samsung. We expected to see both a 32GB and a 64GB model launched alongside the 16GB device, however as yet there has been no news of when we can expect to see them hit the shelves here in the UK. Consumers in the US are expected to see the 64GB version of this impressive phone to arrive very soon.  Compare the best Samsung Galaxy S4 packages here http://www.phoneslimited.co.uk/Samsung/Galaxy+S4.html

There are some great features and specification on board the Samsung Galaxy S4, but the downside of this is that they take up a lot of storage on the phone which doesn't leave much for the consumer. There is an update which is to be released shortly that will improve this slightly and this is expected to be followed by future updates which will increase the storage capacity further.
