Nexus 5 was released this week and goes up one notch because of the absence of some retail locations for the phone. Rumours have spread across when several online blogs announced that  Nexus 5’s launch will be closer after one retailer removed it from its online website.

It became obvious when one of the popular UK mobile phone retailer’s website removed its LG Nexus 4 display. A search for the Nexus 4 handset online results to seeing the LG Optimus L3 only. A conversation with one of this mobile phone retailer’s staff revealed that they are still selling the Nexus 4 and that a new poster of the handset was put up in the store, it is all up to you if you will believe the statement or not.

This is not a big deal because it was foreseen to be happening with the current sale of the iPhone and iPads. Users have agreed that the Nexus 5 rumour is neither a proof nor evidence because most of the feedback reads in relation with the story was a shock. It shocked some people that anyone would believe that this is a proof of an impending Nexus 5 release date. One soon to be Nexus user stated that this rumours and speculations were purely based on the fact that one retailer does not take stock of the phone as he had seen several comments too following this thinking. In fact, one Google play store also marked one version of the Nexus 4 out of stock this week while the UK has a stock of all the versions of the phone as of this writing.

When are you expecting the Nexus 5 to be released? What brand are you expecting to make this smartphone? Do you believe that the next handset will still be a Nexus 5? Will it be better than the Nexus 4 deals that are available now? Who knows...
