Nokia Lumia 1020 arriving in UK shops by September

News   •   Jul 16, 2013 22:16 BST

The Nokia Lumia 1020 will be arriving in the UK by September, Carphone Warehouse says. There are also network operators, O2 and Three, who have said that they will be offering the device, but failed to announce the device’s availability.

Just like other smartphones in Nokia’s lineup such as the Lumia 925, the Lumia 1020 runs Microsoft’s Windows Phone 8. However, this new smartphone sports a 41-megapixel camera similar to that on the 808 PureView, making it the handset with the most powerful camera in the market. Aside from the camera, it also sports Carl Zeiss optics and both Xenon and LED flash. Furthermore, it sports Pro Camera app, which makes photos look like they were taken by a pro.

Other specs include a 4.5-inch AMOLED HD display, a 1.2-megapixel front-facing camera, 32GB of on board storage, a 1.5GHz dual-core processor, 2GB of RAM, 4G LTE support, and a 2,000mAh battery.

Although we now know that the smartphone will be arriving in September, we still don’t know how much the smartphone will set you back. We’re sure, however, that it will be even more expensive than the Lumia 925.
