After years of silence in the smartphone arena, Windows smartphone strikes worldwide techies with one of the better designs. The Nokia Lumia 800 is one of the first batches of Windows Phone support by Microsoft software. The world’s leading software provider unveiled WP7 in 2010, and in the following year, the company improved their mobile operating system creating a massive update added in the version of IE9 supporting standards. This also includes Twitter integration and multitasking, which is now commonly referred to as the Windows Phone 7.5. For anyone who is considering windows smartphone with WP7, growing up accustomed to a very different Microsoft-driven environment will probably represent the biggest change. Many of the Nokia Lumia 800 deals providers are convinced that this new mobile phone has a viable environment on the right piece of hardware.

It has been a couple of months since Nokia presented its first batch of windows smartphone, in which the Nokia Lumia 800 has won over users in the market place. This is primarily because people liked the innovation, stylish design, apps, among many other things. It comes with 3.7-inch 480 x 800 resolutions coupled with an impressive polycarbonate shell available in different colors. It also has an 8-megapixel camera powered by Carl Zeiss and a dual-LED flash. As for its hardware, the Lumia is powered by Qualcomm’s 1.4 GHz MSM8255 Snapdragon processor and Adreno 205 GPU. The Nokia Lumia 800 shares resemblance from its predecessor, Nokia N9.

The Lumia 800 is not the slimmest device with windows phone but it feels exceptionally comfortable when held in hand. This makes Lumia hard to beat when comes to touchscreen experience and convenience when using. It only weighs 142 grams, which is somehow a lot for a 3.7-inch phone. The frontal side of this window smartphone is covered in Gorilla Glass with slightly convex edges. This is an AMOLED screen while the whole built seems when held in hand but also requires quite a lot of left-to-right finger movements across the screen. As for the camera, the snap quality is vivid while the ability to quickly post to Facebook and other social media networking sites is also impressive. Windows smartphone handsets have an advantage over most rivals with prescribed camera button. The chrome key on the Lumia 800 is exceptional by just holding it down from anywhere in the phone and the user will only snap it in seconds.

In general, the Windows smartphone in the form of Nokia Lumia 800 is a strictly designed platform and almost closed down to all manufacturers in terms of modifying the user interface. Apart from its design, this smartphone differs from non-Nokia handsets with Microsoft’s OS as it is enhanced with free Nokia Maps and Nokia Drive. Nokia can also be a good smartphone for people who frequently use satellite navigation. Plus, the smaller screen size makes it easier for readers to read without the effect of getting their eyes strained. The Finnish manufacturer CEO Stephen Elop tagged the Nokia Lumia 800 as the “first real Windows Phone”, which users couldn’t agree more.
