Nokia teases Lumia EOS in invite

It seems the rumoured Nokia Lumia EOS, a Windows Phone 8 handset sporting a 41-megapixel camera will soon be unveiled. The Finnish firm has sent invites to press, teasing what to expect in their upcoming event.

We don’t see any phone on the invite, but it does give us a clue on what to expect. The invite is titled “Zoom Reinvented,” which suggests that the upcoming device will sport a pretty powerful camera.

Previous leaks show the rumoured Lumia EOS’ back casing with a noticeably huge hole for its camera. Another leaked photo shows a camera component, saying 41-megapixels. So we’re expecting the EOS to sport a 41-megapixel camera just like the 808 PureView. Unfortunately, the handset’s specs still remain a mystery.

It’s a dead cert, however, that the Nokia Lumia EOS will run Microsoft’s Windows Phone 8 just like the Lumia 925 (click here for more info on the Nokia Lumia 925).

Nokia’s event will be kicking off in New York City at 11am on the 11th of July.
