Samsung Galaxy Owners To Receive Early Accesas To Jay-Z's New Album

A few weeks ago, news emerged that Jay Z has signed a multimillion dollar endorsement contract with Samsung. Initially, details regarding exactly what the endorsement would involve have kept under wraps, but earlier this week an announcement was made about upcoming promotions between the two parties.

Of course, Jay Z is one of the biggest music stars in the world, and the biggest selling hip hop artist in history. With millions of fans around the world, and with Samsung being one of the biggest Electronics brands, the endorsement deal is certainly likely to be beneficial to both parties. Earlier this week, at the halftime show at game 5 of the NBA finals, it was announced that owners of certain Samsung Galaxy devices we get early access to Jay-Z's eagerly anticipated upcoming album for free.

On the 7th of July, Jay-Z will be launching his new album 'Magna Carta Holy Grail'. However, if you own a Samsung Galaxy S3, Galaxy S4 or Galaxy Note 2, you can download an exclusive application which will give you the chance to download the album onto your phone for free, on the 4th of July, before the album is officially released. On the 24th of June, the official app will become available, and the first one million people to download it on to a compatible Samsung Galaxy device will get a free downloaded. Of course, any new Jay-Z album is big news in the music industry, and coupled with the millions of Samsung Galaxy devices which have been sold, we expect demand to be very high. The app will also include plenty of bonus content, and behind the scenes footage of the album's creation. Slash Gear has recently reported that Samsung has paid Jay-Z $5.00 for every download of the album.
