The Korean tech giant Samsung will be lifting the lid on the Galaxy Note 3, follow-up to the Galaxy Note 2 phablet, on the 4th of September at the IFA trade show in Berlin, Germany.

On Samsung’s official blog, the Korean firm announced, “Samsung Unpacked 2013 Episode 2 will be held on September 4th, 2013 19:00 CEST or 13:00 EDT. Samsung Unpacked 2013 Episode 2. Note the date.”

Samsung doesn’t mention the Galaxy Note 3, but it’s pretty obvious that we are to expect the phablet at the event, with the firm saying, ““Note the date.”

Rumour has it that Samsung will be lifting the lid on another device at the show. It is said that the Samsung Gear, Samsung’s smart watch, will be making an appearance alongside the Galaxy Note 3. This is Samsung’s answer to the iWatch.
