Sony have released some superb models this year that are set to compete with Android market leaders Samsung. The sony Xperia Z is the company's current flagship device and we have now heard news regarding an event which will be held by the company. The Japanese manufacturer is expected to introduce two new premium models at this event as well as a new version of the xperia Z.
Sony will be holding a major press event in Berlin, Germany on the 25th of June this year which is where we are very likely to see the brand new models introduced. the invitations have already gone out and it is said that they feature the phrase "lust auf mehr" which in English basically translates to "want more". This indicates to us that we will see the new models unveiled at the event although this has not yet been confirmed by Sony themselves. Rumours are suggesting that we will see a new phablet device debuted at the event in the form of the Xperia L4 Togari as well as a more traditionally sized Xperia l1 Honami. At this same event we also expect to see the new Nexus version of the Sony Xperia Z officially introduced.
Samsung currently dominate the phablet market thanks to their excellent range of Galaxy Note handsets which includes the best selling Samsung Galaxy Note 2 and it seems that Sony have this rival in their sites with the new Xperia L4. On board this new model will be a huge 6.44 inch Full HD screen. There is sometimes a loss in image quality when there is a large screen present, however this should not be the case with the L4 thanks to the incorporation of the Bravia Mobile Engine 2 and new Opticast colour technology. There will be similar high specification on board which includes NFC, 4G LTE as well as a huge 32GB of storage capacity. We will see specification that is similar to this offered by the new Xperia l1 although the size of the display will be the same size as the Sony Xperia Z. Pick your ideal Xperia handset here
As we receive more details regarding these new models from sony we will be sure to update you as soon as possible, however it is strongly believed that we will see them unveiled at the major event which is to be held later this month.
