Sony-powered Nexus 5, anyone?

The Nexus device has been making raves around town, since its initial release years back. From the Samsung Nexus to the LG Nexus, seems every one wants to get in the bandwagon and release their own Nexus baby. The buzz just keeps on buzzing about the next Nexus device that will hit stores. The recently released Nexus 4 maybe making a beeline now at the Google Play store. The hype hasn’t subsided yet but there’s already some pretty big expectations from its successor, Nexus 5.

This next instalment has made insiders talk incessantly about its big potential, if only Sony was at the helm. Some specs have come out recently, which revealed some pretty interesting concepts. Interesting enough to make Sony scratch its head and finally take up the challenge.

The could-be Sony Nexus 5 differs in design from the ones made by LG and Samsung. It would feature, according to Concept Phones, the Android 4.5 operating system (or Key Lime Pie, to those who want their OS sweet). It could have sported a 5-inch 1080p Super PLS screen and a whopping 18-megapixel camera, which could be a dream come true for those who just love their profiles taken. It would run on the Snapdragon 800 processor. Talk about fast and efficient.

Design-wise, the Nexus 5 would look more sleek and solid, compared to its predecessor, Nexus 4. Sony has been making a good job in redefining the fusion of compact and sophistication, and the Nexus 5 could be the perfect example of that.

Fast. Efficient. Beautiful. Looks promising, eh? The Sony Nexus 5 would have been the best Nexus device to ever land on the hands of users.

The Nexus 5 could be a hit, indeed, if Sony were on the wheel. Nothing’s impossible, and who knows the next Nexus installment may now be on the Sony design table. So if you want to wait the Nexus 5 will be out soon but if you can't wait then try the Nexus 4 from Google.
