Previously, a photo leaked the Sony XPERIA Z1 Mini (Honami Mini) seen beside the Blackberry Q10. A new report is now saying that the handset is codenamed “Itsuki.” However, unlike mini handsets such as the Samsung Galaxy S4 Mini and HTC One Mini, this rumoured handset does not sport disappointing specs.
This is according to Blog of Mobile, a Japanese blog. According to the blog, the XPERIA Z1 Mini’s specs include a 4.3-inch HD display with a resolution of 1280x720 pixels, a 20.7-megapixel rear-facing camera, 16GB of on board storage, a 2400mAh battery, and a 2.3GHz Snapdragon 800 MSM8974 quad-core processor coupled with 2GB of RAM. It is said to be powered by Android 4.2.2 (Jelly Bean).
Word on the street is Sony will be lifting the lid on the XPERIA Z1 Mini at the IFA trade show in Germany on the 4th of September.
