The BIMobject® APP that was successfully launched for Revit earlier last year is now being released for AutoCAD as well. It was introduced for Revit at the end of April 2012 as the world’s first fully integrated cloud based BIM object solution inside a BIM software.

With the BIMobject® APP the whole BIMobject® cloud is integrated inside AutoCAD allowing BIM users to search, filter and browse dynamically for BIM object content free of charge on the bimobject.com cloud.

Users can view and use the full extent of the portal’s features like download, filter, search, use BIMail to contact manufacturers directly inside AutoCAD. This creates an easy and flexible way to find native AutoCAD DWG blocks for their actual BIM/CAD project.
