As one of the most popular smartphones on the market, the Samsung Galaxy S3 boasts a spec list which is the envy of many competing manufacturers.  While this is one very versatile smartphone, in this article I am going to take a look at some of the popular game titles of this phone.

Angry Birds

If you own any smartphone, the chances are you have played Angry Birds.  It is the most popular mobile phone game ever, recently celebrating its one billion download.  This is a simple strategy based game which requires users to aim the Angry Birds characters using a catapult, altering the power and angle by using the touch screen.  The aim is to destroy structures with enemies in them, with more points for maximum damage.  This came gets progressively more challenging as you go through the levels, requiring some creative thinking.  This is a very addictive game, and is ideally showcased thanks to features of the Samsung Galaxy S3 such as its 4.8 inch high definition screen, and powerful processor which makes gameplay for a smooth and immersive.

Console Based Titles

The video games industry is huge, so it was only a matter of time before popular console titles were available for smartphones.  Thanks to features like its screen and processor, the Samsung Galaxy S3 makes it a perfect smartphone for playing games with an advanced graphics and fast paced game play.  There are numerous console based titles available for phones like the Samsung Galaxy S3 from the Google Play Store as well as the Samsung Game Hub.  Popular titles include need for speed and Call Of Duty, which are two of the most popular console based franchises on consoles like the Xbox 360 and Sony PlayStation 3.

Of course, there is much more to the Samsung Galaxy S3 than its abilities as a gaming device. While its processor and screen contribute massively to its appeal to gamers, it of course boasts an outstanding spec list which includes the latest version of the Android operating system along with the Samsung TouchWiz UI, and 8 megapixel camera with 1080p HD video capture. Also, it has some very innovative features not found on many other smartphones. There is a voice activated personal assistant app called S-Voice, which is similar to Siri, and even a wireless charging capability.

The Samsung Galaxy S3 looks set to remain at the top of the smartphone market for the foreseeable future, although the iPhone 5 is sure to prove worthy competition when it is released in September.
