The UK Prepares FOr The Arrival Of The Nokia Lumia 925

Possibly one of the most eagerly awaited Windows smartphones is the new Nokia Lumia 925 which we will see arrive in the coming days. The model has attracted a lot of attention thanks to its impressive new design and the superb specification that is on offer. We now know which UK network providers will be selling the handset and we also have more details on the specification.

We are expecting to see the new Nokia Lumia 925 arrive over the coming days here in the UK and it appears that most of the UK network providers are getting a piece of the action by offering the device is one form or another. Earlier this week it was revealed that the 32GB version of this model would be exclusively offered by Vodafone in a black finish. O2 will also stock an exclusive model which will be white but will boast the more standard 16GB of internal storage. Network providers Three and EE are amongst other providers that will begin their shipments of the new model a little later in the month. Other include leading retailers Carphone Warehouse and Phones 4 U. There are plenty of offers out there for consumers that include a free handset which start from around £34 per month.

The new Nokia Lumia 925 is the first model in the range to be made from a partially metal body. Other Lumia models are constructed from cheaper and less robust Polycarbonate. The back panel of the 925 will continue to be made from Polycarbonate as they are interchangeable and various different coloured back panels that can be purchased. The selection of panels also come with built in wireless charging facilities. When it comes to stand out features, attention has been focused on the camera facility which incorporates Nokia's PureView technology. This allows the user to capture superb images in poor lighting conditions. Pre installed on the device is the Oggl app which adds effects and thanks to the Nokia Smart Camera software the user will be able to share up to 10 images at any one time. The 1.5Ghz dual core processor that is onboard will ensure that multitasking speeds are excellent and a high quality 4.5 inch display is also boasted by this new handset.  Further specification on the latest Windows smartphone here
