Three’s 3G internet had problems yesterday, with users on handsets such as the Samsung Galaxy S4 (for more on the Samsung Galaxy S4 click here) or the Apple iPhone 5 (for more on the Apple iPhone 5 click here) unable to access the internet. The numeric network said on Twitter, “It's being worked on as a priority, sorry for any inconvenience.” On their support page, the network said, “We’re having some issues with our data network this morning.”
In an update on Twitter, Three (to see Three’s Twitter account click here) announced, “Some customers may still have Internet issues. Our engineers are working to restore services in full asap. We’re sorry!”
Now, it seems Three has resolved the issue. It said, “Some of our customers have had problems accessing the internet, we’re restoring those services right now. We’re happy to say internet access across London is back up and running and the whole network should be back to normal this afternoon, if not sooner. We are sorry for any interruption. Our engineers are working hard to make sure our customers can keep on internetting.”
Also seen on their Three’s official website (to see Three’s website click here) is the announcement, “Our engineers have worked through the night to resolve some issues related to yesterday's internet access problems that affected some of our customers’ internet access. All services, including My3 account services have been restored and we are monitoring closely so we can address any performance issues if they arise. Voice and text services remained available throughout. We apologise for any interruption of service and for those affected – thank you for your patience.”
We’re hoping no more issues plague Three.
