Managing Director of Titania Ltd and creator of Nipper Studio, Ian Ventura-Whiting, met with the Cyber Security Minister James Brokenshire last week at the QinetiQ site in Malvern. Titania was invited along with 11 other local cyber security businesses by Harriett Baldwin MP. The group met to address the Minister regarding the importance of Cyber Security and the issues affecting the industry.
Ian Ventura-Whiting was please to be involved in the discussions that promoted the importance of cyber security. With years of experience as a Penetration Tester, he first developed Nipper as a tool to help achieve speed and accuracy when performing manual security audits on network devices. With so many companies and departments looking for ways to cut costs without jeopardising the security of their networks, Mr Ventura-Whiting took the opportunity during the discussion to highlight the time and cost savings that Nipper provides. Despite its speed Nipper delivers comprehensive and reliable security audits on network devices, proving that while cyber security is essential it doesn’t have to be expensive.
It is now the goal of the local cyber security community in and around Malvern’s ‘cyber valley’ (Harriett Baldwin MP) to continue to raise awareness of the importance of cyber security. Titania and other local businesses will be coming together in regular meetings to network, share ideas and be the collective voice for issues affecting the industry. By doing so they hope to raise the profile of the cyber security industry, while joining Harriett Baldwin in the campaign to attract more investment and expand the cyber security community in West Worcestershire.
