Recently, Google lifted the lid on its new tablet, the improved Nexus 7. This new tablet comes with a 5-megapixel rear-facing camera, a 1080p display, and Android 4.3 (Jelly Bean), which is the latest version of the search giant’s operating system. An online retailer reveals that the tablet will be landing in the UK on the 13th of September and will start at £199.

The site responsible for leaking the Nexus 7’s UK release date and price is PC World. The site reveals that the 7-inch tablet will be available on the 13th of September. It also says that the 16GB variant will cost £199, while the 32GB variant will set you back £240.

Judging from these prices, the new Nexus 7 is slightly more expensive than its predecessor. The original version was available on Google Play for £160 for the 16GB variant and £200 for the 32GB variant. Although slightly more expensive than its predecessor, the new Nexus 7 is still much cheaper than the 16GB Apple iPad Mini, which will set you back £270.
