ZTE Grand S Flex and Blade G leaked on the internet – big batteries incoming

When we think of ZTE, handsets such as the Blade III (click here for more on the smartphone) first come to mind. If a new leak is accurate, there will be two more handsets to think about. These leaked handsets are the Grand S Flex and the Blade G.

The leak comes to us courtesy of Frandroid (click here to visit site), which is a French-speaking site. Unfortunately, we don’t speak French. Fortunately, UnwiredView (click here to visit site) has translated the report.

According to UnwiredView, “The new handset is called ZTE Grand S Flex, and has a 2,300 mAh battery. This makes it a bit thicker than the Grand S, but it’s worth it.

“Frandroid says the Grand S Flex will be available in France starting September. From the live photos showing it, it looks like there aren’t noticeable differences design between the Grand S Flex and the older Grand S.”

When it comes to the Blade G, the site says, “Another upcoming ZTE smartphone that Frandroid got hold of is the Blade G. This is the successor to the popular Blade series, and features: a 4.5 inch display with 854 x 480 pixels, dual-core 1.2GHz Qualcomm processor, 512MB of RAM, and a 2,000 mAh battery. It’s going to be available in late summer.”

Almost no design changes are mentioned, but there are things about the two that caught our eye. These are the handsets’ batteries. The Grand S Flex sports a massive 2,300mAh battery, while the Blade G sports a pretty capable 2,000mAh battery. This simply means that the two will last longer than most handsets out there.

However, ZTE hasn’t made the two official. So for now take this with a pinch of salt.
