Niam sells the remaining 27.5% of Sektor Gruppen
Niam signed an agreement to sell the remaining shares of Sektor Gruppen to the three other owners, (i) NorgesGruppen through Joh. Handel Eiendom 1 AS, (ii) Varner Gruppen through Varner Invest AS and (iii) Home Invest through K&S Holding AS. Niam acquired Sektor Gruppen in 2010, and then reduced its stake from 100% to 27.5% in 2012. During the holding period, Niam completed the extension of shopping centers Herkules, Kremmertorget and Kongssentret, adding over 15,000 sqm of retail area, successfully renegotiated leases and improved the NOI of the holdings.
Niam will continue its cooperation with Sektor Gruppen through the existing management agreements related to shopping centers owned by other Niam funds.
