Norway’s largest perfume shop will open at Oslo Airport on Thursday. This means even more products at Duty Free prices, also for domestic travellers.
700 square metres of famous brands
The new 700-square metre Travel Value shop will open on Thursday, 12 February, right next to Gate 24 in the domestic pier, and will offer cosmetics at Duty Free prices.
“Perfume and cosmetic products from all the major and famous brands will be represented. We will have a strong focus on natural skin care brands, as requested by our customers. We will also have a large selection of gift boxes featuring popular products,” says Håkon Fjeld-Hansen, managing director of Travel Retail Norway, the company that operates the Duty Free and Travel Value businesses at airports in Norway.
The new shop will also sell jewellery, watches, as well as the newest sunglasses from Ray Ban, Oakley, Maui Jim, Michael Kors, Gucci, Marc by Marc Jacobs and Prada. The shop will also stock toys from Lego, Brio and Barbie for those in need of gifts for the little ones.
Commercial director Espen Ettre at Oslo Airport is pleased with the opening of a new shop, also because it marks the beginning of new and expanded services at the airport. The 700 square metres are the first to be inaugurated in the new departures and arrivals hall – well before the rest will be ready in 2017.
“The shop is partially located in our new terminal. This is a very special milestone for us and we hope the passengers will find the shop modern, inviting and full of great deals,” says Ettre.
